Whatever happened to…

David Cook?

I suddenly thought of him because I heard David Archuleta’s Crush on Yahoo Launchcast a few minutes ago. Didn’t his handlers know that a lull like this could cost him his American Idol popularity? Or it might have cost him already.

This is sad considering the guy is immensely talented!

Anybody knows the deal with this guy now?

Well, after he wonm he had to do all that press stuff that comes with winning, then he had to practice for the Idol tour this summer. Now he’s puting this finishing touches on his album due out in Nov. He did rlease the song he sung on the finale, though. I think its still on the charts. Yeah, Archuleta released a single, but big deal. Cook is more talented!

  2. Wow, you really haven’t been paying attention. He just released his single “Light On”! His album is coming out November 18. He’s been co-writing all the songs, which takes time.

  3. Well Anonymous whoever you are, that is the reason why I am asking. Had I known, I would probably have written about it!

No need to be sarcastic! I am a fan of David Cook, okay????

  4. I didn’t know about his brand new single, but I was going to say that his “Time of my Life” song has been playing constantly on the radio since the show ended. I hear it all the time.
    I don’t think it’s promoted very well though…..
And he has tons of stuff to download on ITunes.

You should visit his website, DavidCookOfficial.com

    It’s pretty amazing.

I don’t think anonymous was being sarcastic. David Cook has been in the public eye since winning Idol. The tour ended just a few weeks ago, and Tuesday his single dropped. Right now, it’s #3 on iTunes, and #1 in Pop, even though it is rock!

  6. I just bought the single “Light On” from itunes yesterday. Its very good. Although David Archuletta’s song, Crush, is cute, it is more of a teenybopper song for young girls. “Light on” by David Cook is for everyone.

  7. That is also what I like to know.
