Rihanna, after being battered by boyfriend, Chris Brown, is back in his arms again! According to People and TMZ.com, the couple are together and chilling in one of P. Diddy‘s homes.

This girl might just have the Stockholme syndrome. She better get herself checked asap!

I love everything Japanese. That’s why I watch this Japanese tourism channel almost all the time! Flowering Japanese Magnolia trees, temples, Japanese food, kimonos… even their awesome technology! I think i might be Japanese in another lifetime ha-ha!

When I was a little kid, there was a local channel promoting Japanese tourism by showing good things about the country. From the people to the food to the technology and lifestyle. I could sit for hours watching those tourism shows!

Travel and Living is one of my favorite channels in cable tv. I love traveling but cannot do so due to budget constraints. Thank goodness for travel shows I can travel in different parts of the world while sitting on my ultra comfy couch. I can work while checking out accommodations like Dallas Texas hotels shown in different travel shows like the one with Samantha Brown. So okay, I am now off to Italy with Jamie Oliver!

Our neighbor had this great idea of doing an aluminum fence installation at six in the morning! I normally go to sleep around four in the morning so you can just imagine how the construction woke me up. I immediately remembered Ashton Kutcher’s video ranting about his neighbor. I was one of those people who thought of him being a jackass afterwards. But now, I already know where he’s coming from. Aargh!

The Couch Potato is off her couch for a few days now, tinkering around the house. I had to check on some things. I was so engrossed with Hansgrohe sink faucets for almost an hour. Imagine that! I am looking into the possibility of being off the couch for a period of time and might be into something concerning homes. Keeping my fingers crossed

Vicki Belo, renowned cosmetic surgeon here in the Philippines, was interviewed at Showbiz Central yesterday and she apparently said something insulting about Boy Abunda, talk show host, talent manager and the image model of the Belo Medical Group‘s main competitor, Calayan Surgicenter, to this effect…

If you want to look like Boy Abunda, go to Calayan. If you want to look like Dingdong Dantes and Piolo Pascual, go to Belo.

Ouch!

Vicki Belo said that it was just a joke! But in tonight’s Showbiz News Ngayon episode, Boy Abunda was asked by Kris Aquino about that statement and he emotionally reacted to it. He was hurt, according to him and his mom even called him up asking if he did something wrong to Vicki Belo that’s why she’s making him a laughingstock. He tearfully stated that he never did anything wrong to Vicki Belo so he doesn’t know where this is coming from.

Tsk tsk tsk

Did you watch the Academy Awards? I did! I made sure my couch was ready. I also had a steaming mug of coffee with me this morning. The only thing missing was my LCD HDTV I have in mind! I have a 21″ flat tv here at home. Of course, that’s enough. But it would have been sweeter if it’s a huge LCD HDTV, don’t you think? Rob Pattinson would have been 10 times larger and hunkier! Hahaha

I love, love soft linens like Sferra! I get only a few hours of sleep in a day. And those few hours should really be filled with nothing but blissful oblivion. Oh yes, I am that picky with the things on my bed as well as the sleep wear I have. I just feel like I am working hard to earn and that what little comfort I can get in a few hours is well deserved. Don’t you think?

Twilight hottie Robert Pattinson has confirmed to be presenting an award in this coming 81st Academy Awards. Yipee! Enough reason for me to wake up early (we’re 8 hours advance here, I believe) to watch the show.

I wonder who will be his date??

Are there really televiewers still watching Pinoy Fear Factor? I just feel that it is a very, VERY STUPID show to begin with. The challenges are grossly stupid or just plain gross! Would you even find yourself faced with these challenges in real life? Do you really need to eat live rats, cockroaches, scorpions and the other totally full of bacteria/virus/toxic whatnot insects that show makes its participants digest? Have you noticed how I despise the show??? I actually feel the stupidity meter rising whenever I see a teaser of the next episode!

Bringing a show like that here in the Philippines is just a waste of money. Who enjoys watching a person eating a cockroach or a rat? Who enjoys watching a person lie down in a box full of snakes? Who enjoys watching a person get stung by a scorpion because he is trying to eat it alive?

People with something wrong in their heads, that’s for sure!

I just don’t like the concept. Masochistic, to say the least. And gross! And stupid! Aargh!

R&B singer Chris Brown, accused and arrested on suspicion of beating girlfriend, R&B Princess, Rihanna, issued the following statement last weekend…

Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired. I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God’s help, to emerging a better person. Much of what has been speculated or reported on blogs and/or reported in the media is wrong. While I would like to be able to talk about this more, until the legal issues are resolved, this is all I can say except that I have not written any messages or made any posts to Facebook, on blogs or any place else. Those posts or writings under my name are frauds.

What do you think? Personally, it does not sound contrite to me. He should once and for all address the issue and tell the girl he beat up SORRY.

A friend of mine reads any books she could get her hands on. It doesn’t matter what kind of book it is. It could be Christian books, about politics, biographies, fiction, non-fiction. You name it. She devours books like someone who is addicted to it. I guess she inherited her love of books from her elders. Or that she was exposed to it early in life. I just know that when she loses herself in a book, you can never take her concentration from it.

All those fuss about Jessica Simpson being overweight and all that… I really think that there is just a big hidden agenda in all of it. I mean, I think she looks in the mirror before she goes on stage, right? So why didn’t she see herself with that ugly mom pants? The girl is not really overweight! It’s the pants that made her look like that. I must admit that she needs more time on the toning and strength equipment in the gym for her flabby arms. But other than that…

Have you seen her latest interview? She looked slim in that interview! I think her dad has something to do with this again. Just sayin’.

It’s officially summer here in the country by March! I am sure that most of you will be going somewhere, would be taking advantage of summer vacation. Get a travel insurance online before you go off somewhere, okay? Just to be sure. You just never know when something off will happen. When you are traveling by air or by sea anywhere, be sure to get an insurance. That’s standard procedure for everyone.

I have been extremely busy with so many things these past few days. No time to update this blog daily, unlike before. But I am trying. There are so many entertainment news to write about. I just don’t have enough time to put it into writing. Aside from cleaning up the bedroom (yes, I am off the couch lately!), I have to run errands left and right. I also have to check out performance parts that a family member asked me to do. A pile up, I tell you.
