Surprise, surprise! There are two houses! That means two sets of housemates!

It was not that exciting, to tell the truth. We watched past seasons. This season, the drum up seemed to me like all noise and no substance. It turned out to be true. To raise the level of interest (if any) by the televiewers, they included a transsexual housemate.

Big Brother then included twins who tried their best to confuse their housemates. They failed. A couple then came in, who pretended to be not a married couple. The woman was tasked to flirt with someone in the house. It almost caused trouble with the couple. The husband was eaten by jealousy. He had to bow out or risk the anger of Big Brother when he revealed that he’s the husband of the woman. Hay…

The thing is, I could not get what the f**k Big Brother wants to accomplish with all the cheap tricks up his sleeves. With the married couple, he said that to see the strength of their relationship. Which to me is rubbish! It’s all a cheap trick to drum up interest. With the transsexual, acceptance. Which is bullshit! Another cheap ploy, if you ask me.

Ratings are down, by the way. I don’t think a lot of people are watching. I think there was more interest with Survivor Philippines: Palau than this season’s Pinoy Big Brother. Too bad. Another investment gone to waste for ABS-CBN.

People are sick and tired of the drama that is Jon and Kate Gosselin. These two have been airing their dirty laundry (mostly Jon, actually) to the media and well, what can I say, scandal and family drama sell! That’s why tabloids are lapping up anything that has to do with these two.

But we are all forgetting that in the process of hating these ex-couple, there are 8 casualties that will be left scarred by the bitterness that is the Gosselin divorce: their twins and sextuplets.

The guy is lame! Blaming everything to his wife, Kate, when in everything that happens in a marriage, the husband and wife are responsible for it. Not just any one of them but both contribute to the state of their marriage. And bring back family values… Family values my ass! Nancy Grace is right! How could he ever bring back family values when he himself doesn’t know what it is???

Serves him right for being a famewhore and a lousy dad to his eight kids! Years from now, his kids will be able to read everything about their dad and I am sure they will never speak to him again.

The premiere of the newest reality series of E! scored big! Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami premiered last August 16, 2009 and it drew in a record nearly 2.7 million viewers. Wow! It seems people like the sisters of the more popular Kardashian, Kim. I bet they brought home gifts for their for their sisters and their also popular mom and stepdad. Or paid for miami packages for the whole family.

Now, the question is, can they sustain that kind of viewership?

Jon Gosselin of the TLC reality show Jon & Kate Plus 8, instead of spending time with his EIGHT (8) children, would rather spend time in St. Tropez with his mistress. Shame on you, Jon!

I have said several times in the past entries I’ve posted here that I love reality shows. But those family-friendly ones only. We have kids at home so adult shows are a no-no. One of the cable channels that we are subscribed to is Discovery Channel’s Home & Health. Jon & Kate Plus 8 airs in that channel.

I’ve been following the show. Jon and Kate Gosselin are proud parents to 8-year-old twins and 4-year-old sextuplets. The reality show chronicles how the family lives and how Jon and Kate manages to take care of the eight kids.

Anyway, about a month ago, articles about Jon’s infidelity surfaced on the net. He was captured on photo drunk and partying with college girls. The reality show will be going on it’s 5th season soon. Probably due to this, Jon is now disputing the rumors that he cheated on his wife, Kate. He said in an interview with Ladies Home Journal that he never cheated on his wife.

But I noticed that he never did explain why he was caught on camera with the college-aged girls.

I stopped watching the last few episodes of last season because it was boring and annoying at some point. I wonder if there are still people waiting for the next season?
