Need I say more?

Okay so my sister and I are watching the Pacman-dela Hoya 24/7 at GMA 7 right now. Mark Wahlberg made an appearance at the Wild Card Gym, watching Manny spar with Freddie Roach. He said that he’s known Freddie for a long time now and that he’s a fan. Then he had his photo taken with Pacman.
Wow! Marky Mark is drop dead gorgeous!!!

Since I am no expert in boxing, but I do love watching, I asked my dad on his fearless forecast for tomorrow morning’s Dream Match between Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao and Oscar “The Golden Boy” dela Hoya. He said that he thinks dela Hoya will win considering his famous granite chin and his longer reach. But if Pacquiao survives the sixth round, there might be a chance he would win the match.
Here’s crossing my fingers that Pacman wins tomorrow morning!
Leading Game 2 with a final score of 62-51, Ateneo de Manila University won the 2008 UAAP Season 71 Basketball Championship Series versus La Salle University. It was a great game but from the onset, you could see that it was Ateneo’s game. Norman Black’s boys were relaxed and confident. Chris Tiu, the team’s star player, was even not utilized that much unlike in Game 1. Fans of the team were going crazy with each shot sealing the game.
Congratulations to the Blue Eagles!
Ateneo de Manila University. Or La Salle University. We still have to watch the game!
Game 1 is on right now. Ateneo leading. It will be a tough match for sure. And as expected, both schools are in attendance. In full force! Top alumni from both schools are present. Well-known personalities are all in attendance.
Would you believe, when tickets for sale were announced, it took 3 hours to sell everything out. It was that fast!
Let’s see who wins this year’s senior basketball category of the UAAP. College basketball is sustaining our country’s love for basketball. The pro is no longer that appealing to most people. Ticket sales says it all.
So who’s your bet?

I don’t know yet! The competition will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2008 at Araneta Coliseum. I hope the UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe will win once again. Go USTe!!!

Philippines is still 0-0-0 in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Makes you think that we wasted a lot of money sending those athletes abroad. Then again, it makes you also wonder what kind of training they have here.
I pray one of the Taekwondo reps would win.
Amazing! This guy, Michael Phelps, already got his 8th gold medal at the ongoing 2008 Beijing Olympics! This is his Olympics. And I tell you, it will be a long time from now before another record such as this will be surpassed, if not duplicated.
So people have been talking about the little Chinese girl who sang the Chinese national anthem, who turned out to be singing with a different voice. I wonder why people are making a big fuss out of it. This type of singing, with a ghost singer and the performing lip syncing, is normal and happens all the time. Yes, the Beijing Olympics is a big event. But I don’t think the Chinese people had actually built up the little girl’s singing prowess. They have a valid reason for the lip syncing. Apparently, the original singer doesn’t measure up to their aesthetic standards.
Let us leave it that way and spare the poor little girls these over reaction, eh?
The couch potato was speechless as she was watching the Beijing Olympics the other night. Wow! The Chinese really did an amazing job! I bow down to their expertise in fireworks, lighting and audio-visual presentation. I just had to force my mouth shut every time a new presentation was being performed. That execution of lighting the torch… A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!
Were you able to watch the opening ceremonies of the 2008 Beijing Olympics?
