Someone told me real estate is picking up locally. I guess it is. After Ondoy, homeowners have been selling their houses and looking for brand new ones. I heard that a colleague temporarily gave up his job and did a Real Estate job search. I also heard that he is doing good in his real estate job.
If only I have the guts to leave my current job, I would have done so by now. I can just imagine those commissions coming in!
I kept being asked what is the best fat burning supplement there is. Unfortunately, I don’t have the answer to it yet. If I do, I wouldn’t be this overweight.
I wish I can say that I lost weight because I am almost always off my couch. But I can’t say it. Because I haven’t lost a single pound after that two pounds I lost in February. I think I gained a lot after it. It is a bad trait of mine. I need not know the pounds I lost or I will gain it back for sure.
I am sure the tweens and the teens have heard already. Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato are dating! Oh yes, they took the next step from being best friends to being something more. It was Demi who broke the news and then they followed it up with their first interview as a couple at Ryan Seacrest‘s radio show.
So they are officially on. Wonder how long they will last. And if their friendship can survive after everything with them are through…
I was about to receive a pre-approved credit card from a local bank. I got the cash advance PIN first and when I called up the bank to inquire what it was about, they told me that they were about to send a pre-approved credit card to me. I declined and asked that it be canceled. I am not interested.
For one, I have credit cards already. I don’t want to add another one. Plus, it would be another temptation I will often carry to the mall with me. I don’t need to incur additional fees and more so, I don’t need that kind of temptation near me!
Thank goodness I called up the bank right away.
Donny Osmond was upset over Lady Gaga’s Telephone music video which features Beyonce. According to the MSNBC.com article:
The racy video — the full length of which features Gaga in a womens’ prison and sees the pop star kissing another female inmate, writhing about in a prison yard, dancing in a bikini and a bit of semi-nudity (her bum) — has angered the most recent “Dancing with the Stars” champ.
Truth is, I haven’t seen the video yet. I do know the song but haven’t listened to it that well. I do understand where Donny is coming from. He is a parent. Kids these days have access to the internet and in a flash, they can watch all these videos via Youtube. He just doesn’t want his kid to see a video of a very popular pop singer today doing racy things. Lady Gaga, whether she likes it or not, has a responsibility to be a little bit more discriminating when it comes to the videos she makes. She’s very popular and people of all ages like her! Sure, it’s the parents who are responsible for her kids. But with the technology today, kids can still just tune in to MTV and watch the video in a matter of minutes! And what do they get out of watching her video? Learn sex in a bad way!
We are all responsible, whether we like it or not. Especially to those who are way up there than the rest of us. Especially to those people we often see on TV. To whom so much is given, much is expected. Lady Gaga should remember that.

Posters of the movie The Lovely Bones are plastered all over malls in the metro. It says the movie will open on March 17th. But it’s already the 20th and the movie has yet to open. There is not even a date for it as far as I know.
I am excited to watch this movie. I know the story and have read the book in college. Plus I have read some good reviews of it. I am just wondering when it will be shown here in the country. I can’t wait to see it!
The truth is I don’t like Kara DioGuardi. I feel like she’s just trying too darn hard to be likable and she’s falling flat on her face. She actually comes across as a very annoying person! And I am basing all these from watching her in American Idol.
I am one of those persons who were disappointed with the decision of the AI team to add a fourth judge. Kara was just not needed, in my opinion. Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul were enough. Then Paula was out of Idol and Kara took her seat beside Simon and she became even more annoying!
I don’t know if you have noticed how she acts so chummy with Simon with every episode of the show. It’s just terribly annoying to see. I feel like she’s trying to make Ellen de Generes feel out of place, like what happened to her in her first year in Idol.
Aargh! I just don’t like her! Plus, she reminds me of someone I don’t talk to anymore. Grrr
The joint pain treatment has been truly good to my uncle. He is now back to his old self. When he was in pain, he would lash out at every one around him. His kids were afraid of him so instead of going near him, the kids would stay far away. After the treatment, he was his old jolly self and the kids are now always near their father once again.
This thing happens to the good of us. We would lash out at our love ones because they are the easy targets. But if you notice it, make it right. Don’t let a rift develop that you can’t mend in the future.
I told my dad that if he insists on eating fatty foods, even the best cholesterol medications won’t be effective anymore. My dad is not getting any younger so I am trying to remind him again and again to avoid food that will cause him harm after digestion. Sometimes he listens to me. Most of the time he doesn’t.
I must admit that I have the same attitude. But then I am trying to correct it already. I want my dad to live a longer life so I am also trying to correct what has been a wrong attitude he has for years!
