I saw our neighbor the other day and she told me that they are cutting down on their electric consumption. They’ve been using air conditioner in their house but now she told her children to make use of the new Hunter fans that will be installed in some parts of the house. It will not only add character to their home, it will also serve as a means to ventilate the house without consuming that much energy unlike the air conditioner.

We’ve been doing this at home, too. Been years now actually. We stopped using the air conditioner because it just eats up too much power and when the electric bill comes in, I’d see just how much we’ve used and often thought of chucking the aircon and we did. Saved me a lot of money, I should add.

My sister told me that the family knows someone who won in a TV show contest. She told me that the person won a big amount of money and that he is spending it like it’s water coming out of a faucet. We were discussing about what we would have done if we won that kind of money and we said in a chorus that we would invest some of it right away. On silver! Specifically, on a Morgan silver dollar.

It is best to be wise when it comes to winnings. Before you know it, you’d have spent every last centavo of it and you’d regret not ever saving even a small percentage of it. Better do it right away than find yourself without any.

Some people drift from one profession to another. If you find yourself at a lost for what it is that you really want to do in life, get a career advice. You need this so that you won’t drift no more. Time is precious and it is not right to waste it doing something that you are not truly passionate about.

Find what will make you happy. Find a job that won’t feel like a job because you are happy to do it daily. Find a job that won’t drag you out of bed just because you are thinking of the paycheck.

I have a long stretch of bare wall in my living room. It had a beautiful rug before but I grew tired of it so I took it down. Since then I haven’t found a ‘worthy’ replacement to it. This wall art will be a good one to replace it.

I don’t know why Lindsay Lohan is throwing away her youth. She’s got talent and beauty. Sure, she may be surrounded by bad people with intentions of using her but I would like to think that she has enough brains to still stand up for herself and distinguish right from wrong.

I think it’s the Hollywood culture of being a rebel is cool. I think that’s it. She came from a broken family and her mom is her enabler. She has enough reasons to become a rebel. But come on! I would like to believe that regardless of the circumstances in our lives, we are still left to choose the path we want to take. Good or bad? Right or wrong? It’s still up to each one of us! We are given a free will. I say use it wisely! In Lindsay’s case, I’d like to think that the choice was made for her.

What’s the point of this entry? The necklace. The one she stole. Someone should be able to notice that the girl is spiraling out of control! She craves attention and she feels she can only get it if she does something wrong. Her mother, or someone who still cares for her, should do something about her situation. NOW! Or she could end up a Hollywood culture casualty like so many others before her.

Yes, I am changing insurance providers because I want cheaper rates. I am waiting for the cheap car insurance quotes that I asked online. I need to find cheaper rates. I am sticking to a strict lean budget for the next couple of months. I want to be able to save enough money because the family is planning a trip abroad before the year ends.

I know there are cheaper rates with the same benefits out there. I want to find one and utilize it. I will also cut down on some other expenses I have and hopefully, be able to save enough out of the decrease in expenses.

If you are going on a roadtrip, better make sure you are prepared for it. Get a roadside assistance plan. Make sure you can call someone when you encounter an emergency in the middle of nowhere. You don’t want to find yourself stranded with no immediate help coming.

So check your rv or any vehicle you will be using. Have the machine checked by a professional. Get a roadside assistance plan and double check the vehicle’s insurance.

I am just wondering… how credible is this film grading body in the Philippines. Cinema Evaluation Board is an organization that evaluates a movie’s overall merit. It will give a grade to it and each grade will carry with it a tax incentive. This is what I know of CEB.

I’ve been reading about the grades it gave out to different local movies in the past and I am baffled by the way they grade movies. Imagine, giving a grade B rating to My Valentine Girls! Yes, that movie starring ham actor Richard Gutierrez and a slew of starlets. A B-rating would mean a 50% tax incentive to the movie producer. Is the movie really that good? Or the standards of this evaluation board really that low? I doubt if the movie’s that good! I’ve seen Richard Gutierrez’s movies and all of it were cringe-worthy! You cannot deny the fact that he is extremely good-looking. But the acting? Come on! He’d be swallowed whole by bit actors in ABS-CBN teleseryes! Admit it! Those of you who’ve seen his movies and even TV shows know what I’m talking about. He can act but not really well.

I think someone should tell CEB not to dole out grades based on just because they feel the movie will be popular to the masses.

You can tell that she’s into Ladies Hats. She has a collection of different hats and she even makes one for herself and for family and friends. Her parents, seeing her interest in hats, sent her to London to study the fine art of making one.

The local charitable organization gave away school backpacks to the public school children. It was a very good idea considering so many kids go to school without bags of their own or carrying their things in a plastic bag, the ones used in the market.

The kids happily accepted the backpacks. You could see on their faces how the little gesture meant so much to them!

Kids are like that. You give them even a candy bar and it’ll make them smile. Little things become big deal to them. They can appreciate a lot of things and just imagine how much they did with the backpacks!

He was holding a box of Dutch Master when he was spotted at the woman’s balcony. How the box was spotted by the person who saw him is a puzzle. The shot was taken at the mansion’s gate and that’s too far! A special camera lens was probably used.

I can’t understand why the couple are hiding their relationship. They are both single and they are not hurting anybody with their love affair. Shey needs to focus on lower ab workout. She is a fitness fanatic and she will do everything to get that to-die-for body she’s been dreaming of!

On the other hand, her brother Sean is the complete opposite. He doesn’t need to work out as much because he is already very fit. He is blessed with a good metabolism that even if he eats a lot, he doesn’t gain a single pound. What a lucky guy!

Since I am a couch potato, there are nights when I find it hard to sleep. Just because I am thinking of the movie or tv show I watched. It is not the same with someone I know who truly finds it hard to get some much needed shuteye. She still needs a sleep aid to be able to sleep peacefully.

I am really lucky I am not like that. I can sleep easily most of the time.

My friend needs a fat burner. The best one in the market! She needs it to be able to lose the additional weight she gained over the holidays. She finds it uncomfortable to wear her old clothes now. She’s gained quite a lot because of the parties she’s attended left and right.

Now, she is set to lose it. She needs to or she won’t find it comfortable to wear her clothes anymore and might shell out more money in the process. She can’t afford that.
