SubscribeI think remaking classic teleseryes is a bad decision. Have you see an episode of the remake of Mula Sa Puso? The teleserye ended already. I saw a few episodes while waiting for TV Patrol and talk about mediocre acting! The lead stars were blah at best! I don’t know why that starlet Lauren Young was given a chance to topbill a classic teleserye. She had only one expression that of a worried young lass. She was nowhere near Claudine Barretto‘s acting prowess. And that guy who took over the role of the late Rico Yan? My goodness! I don’t know where ABS-CBN got that man! He clearly needed another talent workshop before being asked to step into a lead role!
Remaking a classic is bad decision. I hope the giant TV networks (ABS-CBN, GMA7 and TV5) will stop remaking classic teleseryes and movies and instead create new ones that will appeal to this day’s generation.
