Vampire stories are in!
HBO announced that True Blood, a vampire saga starring Anna Paquin as Sookie Stackhouse and Stephen Moyer as Bill, the vampire, will premiere on September 7. It is adapted for television by Alan Ball (“Six Feet Under”) from the popular series of Southern vampire novels by Charlaine Harris.
Set in a small Louisiana town (actually the Santa Monica Mountains northwest of Los Angeles), the edgy series chronicles a time when synthetic blood supplies enable Bill and other vampires to live openly among humans, without necessarily feeding on them.
Interesting. This better be good!
Eversince we had cable tv installed, I have been monitoring good movies at Home Box Office (HBO). There are a lot of good movies that I missed watching on the big screen and HBO is a great and free way of watching those movies.
There is also the Hallmark Channel where I was able to watch novels turned into Hallmark movies. Yesterday I was able to watch Vanished. I forgot who wrote the novel but the teaser said that it is a novel-turned-into-movie. I was curious enough to watch it and it is riveting.
